How we choose what goes here
A product type earns a place if it solves a problem that comes up in shared rooms and PGs: space, sleep, study, power, food, washing or security. Our criteria come from the practical constraints of a small shared room (size, sockets, rules) and, for safety, from the Bureau of Indian Standards lists cited on each page.
Category pages link to Amazon.in search results so you can compare listings yourself. Those links are explained in a note at the top of each category page and in our affiliate disclosure.
